101 ANNUAL REPORT 2023 MST GOLF GROUP BERHAD 1 Labour Policies and Standards Since 2022, we established comprehensive policies, including the Anti-Sexual Harassment Policy, Child Labour & Forced Labour Policy, Code of Conduct and Ethics for Employees and Code of Conduct and Ethics for Third Parties, to underscore our commitment to upholding labour standards and governing the ethics of our stakeholders. These policies comply with the latest regulations on working hours, minimum working age requirements, harassment, child labour and forced labour. In relation to fair remuneration practices, we maintained compliance with local labour laws by implementing fair wages and remunerations, prioritising equitable compensation for all employees. We also introduced a Board Remuneration Committee and remuneration policies for directors and senior management, aligning with industry best practices in corporate governance. OUR INITIATIVES In our commitment to upholding labour standards and the human rights of employees and workers, we implemented several key initiatives. Our future initiatives are geared towards enhancing employee satisfaction, engagement and performance, while effectively addressing human rights violations through increased awareness and reporting channels. We aim to provide training on human rights and implement fairer work systems to create a just workplace. 2 Reducing Child and Forced Labour Risks We are committed to eliminating forced and child labour within our operations and supply chain. Through our comprehensive Child Labour & Forced Labour Policy, we adhere to relevant laws and regulations, ensuring a zero-tolerance approach to coercion and exploitation. Our Code of Conduct and Ethics for Third Parties holds suppliers to high ethical standards, mandating compliance with labour laws and prohibiting the use of forced or child labour. While we do not foresee significant risks within our operations or supply chain, we remain open to external assurances to reduce risks in maintaining an exploitationfree workforce.
