SECTION 2: OUR STRATEGIC CONTEXT 98 3 Employee Diversity Proportion of Senior Management Hired from the Local Community We support local talent by providing job opportunities and facilitating career progression within the local communities. In 2023, about 75% of our senior management working in significant locations of operation within our Group were hired from the local community. “Local“ here refers to talent hired within the country of establishment for each company within the Group. For MST Golf Group Berhad entities (except MST Golf Singapore), the local region is Malaysia, whereas for MST Golf Singapore, it is Singapore. The definition of “significant locations of operation“ encompasses all subsidiaries and operational units under MST Golf Group Berhad. To assess the effectiveness of our diversity and inclusion efforts, we conducted comprehensive evaluations of our employee demographics across various metrics, including analysing demographic data by job grade, race, gender, age and turnover rates. By closely monitoring these metrics, we strive to establish a workforce that reflects the diversity of the communities we serve.
