We concentrated on delivering safe, reliable and cost-efficient maritime operations across our ship management, and port management and maritime services. These priorities continue to define Marine Services’ role as a key strategic enabler within MISC’s integrated energy value chain. Operational reliability was a clear priority throughout the year. Through standardised operating practices and a structured vessel maintenance strategy, vessel availability was consistently maintained above 99% across the gas and petroleum fleets. At ports and terminals, predictive maintenance capabilities, combined with optimised manpower deployment and equipment scheduling, ensured facility availability remained above 99%, with no interruption to clients’ operations. Complementing these operational measures, digital initiatives such as the deployment of high-speed broadband connectivity across 72 vessels further enhanced real time decision-making, ship to shore collaboration and overall operational agility. This focus on operational excellence was delivered with no compromise on safety, as reflected in key safety performance metrics that performed better than the industry average. In parallel, we also strengthened cost discipline and execution control. Procurement optimisation through long-term vendor partnerships enabled ship operating costs to remain within targeted levels. In support of the Group’s decarbonisation goals, Marine Services deployed energy-efficiency technologies across selected vessels, contributing to reduced fuel consumption and emissions intensity. These initiatives were complemented by efforts to strengthen future readiness of our workforce. Structured upskilling programmes, including basic ammonia capability training, enhancing the operational readiness of our seafarers. Through collaboration with maritime institutes, training modules were refined to align seafarer competencies with evolving fleet requirements. Looking ahead, we will continue to embed sustainability into our operations and adopt innovations that enhance safety, reliability and efficiency. We are positioning Marine Services to support long-term value creation for the Group as the maritime industry continues to evolve.
