Directors were assessed based on their effectiveness with key focus areas being Board Committees’ compositions, roles and responsibilities, time commitment and contribution during Board and Board Committees’ meetings. The following assessments were undertaken by the NC during the year under review:- • Directors’ evaluation (self and peer assessment); • Board and Board Committee evaluation; • Mix of skills and experience of Board Matrix; • Declaration of Independence; • Time commitment; • Reviewed the performance of the GEDC/GMD; and • B oard’s adequacy in terms of its mix of skills, gender diversity and the core competencies.
