(5) By virtue of Tan Sri Dato' Kamaluddin bin Abdullah's indirect interest held through Trillion Icon Sdn. Bhd. and Carrillo Capital Sdn. Bhd. pursuant to Section 8(4) of the Act. By virtue of his interests in the ordinary shares of the Company, Tan Sri Dato’ Kamaluddin bin Abdullah is also deemed to be interested in the ordinary shares of all the subsidiaries during the financial year to the extent the Company has an interest under Section 8(4) of the Companies Act 2016. DIRECTORS’ BENEFITS Since the end of the previous financial year, no Director has received or become entitled to receive a benefit (other than those benefits included in the aggregate amount of remuneration received or due and receivable by the Directors) by reason of a contract made by the Company or a related corporation with the Director or with a firm of which he or she is a member, or with a company in which he or she has a substantial financial interest except for any benefits which may be deemed to have arisen from related party transactions. There were no arrangements during and at the end of the financial year, to which the Company is a party, which had the object of enabling Directors to acquire benefits by means of the acquisition of shares in or debentures of the Company or any other body corporate except for the warrants and share options granted pursuant to the ESOS.
