ENRA Group Berhad Annual Report 2025

62 SECTION 04 : CORPORATE GOVERNANCE GHG EMISSIONS INTENSITY (MT CO2e/RM’000) The chart above illustrates GHG emissions intensity, representing the amount of CO2e emitted per RM’000 of revenue. In FYE 2025, the Group's total Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions increased to 11,115 MT CO2e, resulting in a higher GHG emissions intensity of 0.37 MT CO2e/RM’000. This significant increase compared to FYE 2024 was primarily due to the redeployment of Hexagon Alpha for active chartering operations across Asia and Europe, which involved substantially higher fuel consumption. In contrast, during FYE 2024, the vessel operated in a stationary FSO capacity and was idle for approximately four months following the end of the FSO contract — leading to lower emissions and a reduced intensity value. SCOPE 3 EMISSIONS (MT CO2e) Scope 3 GHG emissions refer to indirect emissions that occur outside the Group’s organisational boundaries, including both upstream and downstream activities, as well as emissions from contractors. In FYE 2025, the Group’s total Scope 3 emissions amounted to 162 MT CO2e, primarily comprising emissions associated with employee commuting (i.e., travel to and from the office) and business-related travel. ENERGY MANAGEMENT ENRA remains committed to leading efforts in reducing energy consumption and addressing the critical issue of climate change. Through the adoption of energy-efficient technologies, the integration of renewable energy sources, and the promotion of sustainable practices among its workforce, the Group continues to contribute to a more environmentally responsible future. Recognising that a significant share of ENRA's operational carbon emissions arises from both Scope 1 and Scope 2 (11,115 MT CO2e in FYE 2025), the Group is dedicated to persistently directing efforts towards minimising fuel and electricity consumption across all its operations. 0.15 0.24 0.37 FYE 2023 FYE 2024 FYE 2025 Travel to Of ce Business Travel Total 154 162 FYE 2023 FYE 2024 FYE 2025 144 148 134 145 3 10 8 Sustainability Report (Cont’d)
