The Group’s OHS policy underscores our commitment to: • P reventing workplace injuries and occupational illnesses; • E nsuring full compliance with applicable occupational safety and health laws and regulations; • R equiring contractors and business partners to uphold the Group’s occupational safety and health standards across all operations; • S etting measurable targets and performance indicators to drive continuous improvements in OHS performance; and • P romoting a safety-first culture where employees, contractors, and stakeholders collectively share the responsibility of preventing harm to people and communities. To reinforce this commitment, the Group conducts regular employee engagement and training programmes aimed at building awareness, competency, and accountability in workplace safety. These initiatives are supported by strict compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994, the Factory and Machinery Act 1967, as well as the Group’s Integrated Safety Management Manual approved by the Board. Through these structured frameworks and ongoing initiatives, the Group ensures that health and safety considerations remain an integral part of daily operations, supporting both employee well-being and sustainable business continuity. The Group’s goal is to build a strong culture of safety awareness and competencies across the organisation. To achieve this, safety induction training programmes are conducted to cover a wide range of critical topics, including chemical safety and health awareness, chemical handling, air hose safety, machine guarding, and safe work practices. These programmes are designed to ensure that employees are fully equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to comply with the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) guidelines and to embed safety-conscious behaviour in daily operations. In support of these efforts, workers are provided with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to safeguard against workplace hazards. This includes ear protection to reduce noise exposure, safety goggles to shield against glare, dust, and water particles, as well as protective gloves for the safe handling of chemicals and other potentially hazardous materials. Destini has also established a comprehensive Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Policy that reaffirms our commitment to providing a safe and healthy workplace while minimising occupational-related injuries. The policy is underpinned by the following commitments: • R aising awareness, developing, and enforcing safe working practices; • P roviding continuous training and development for all employees; • E nsuring compliance with all applicable occupational safety and health laws and regulations; • R eviewing and updating the OSH policy with recommendations for improvement; • E valuating the effectiveness of safety and health measures, supported by corrective action plans where necessary; and • I dentifying workplace risks and implementing proactive measures to mitigate or eliminate hazards. Through these structured initiatives, the Group fosters a workplace culture that prioritises safety, compliance, and continuous improvement, ensuring that employee wellbeing remains central to our sustainable growth journey. To further strengthen our occupational health and safety framework, the Group has established an Emergency Response Team (ERT) tasked with responding to and managing incidents that may arise within our workplace. Employees are encouraged to report any hazards or unsafe conditions directly to the Safety Officer, ensuring that corrective measures can be implemented swiftly. As part of our commitment to employee well-being, the Group provides Group Hospitalisation and Group Personal Accident Insurance coverage to safeguard the health, safety, and welfare of our workforce.
