Climate Action, Sustainability and Governance Climate Action & Sustainability – Unified Efforts for a Greener Future Destini continues to advance its sustainability agenda by embedding environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles across all levels of its operations. In line with Bursa Malaysia’s enhanced sustainability reporting framework and global standards, the Group has strengthened its approach to climate-related disclosures, ensuring transparency and accountability in its transition towards a low-carbon economy. Reflecting its commitment to responsible growth, the Group has implemented concrete measures to reduce its environmental footprint and enhance energy efficiency. A key milestone was the installation of solar PV panels at Destini’s corporate headquarters, marking a significant step toward sustainable energy consumption. During the reporting year, the system generated 131.6 MWh of renewable energy, reducing approximately 431.5 tonnes of CO₂ emissions, equivalent to the environmental benefit of planting 23,559 trees. This initiative underscores Destini’s determination to lead by example in adopting clean energy solutions and reducing operational carbon intensity. MANAGEMENT DISCUSSION AND ANALYSIS (MD&A) Beyond its headquarters, Destini continues to make strong progress on the IWK solar PV projects, which, upon completion, will substantially increase the Group’s renewable energy contribution. The Group is also exploring additional opportunities in hydropower and LNG, further diversifying its participation in Malaysia’s energy transition and reinforcing its position in the sustainable energy value chain. Through these initiatives, Destini reaffirms its long-term commitment to grow responsibly, embraces innovation, and contributes meaningfully to the nation’s sustainability aspirations.
