DIRECTORS’ REPORT Registration No. 200301030845 (633265-K) - 1 - DESTINI BERHAD (Incorporated in Malaysia) DIRECTORS’ REPORT The Directors hereby present their report together with the audited financial statements of the Group and of the Company for the financial period ended 30 June 2024. Principal Activities The principal activities of the Company are those of investment holding and provision of management services, whilst the principal activities of the Group, comprising the Company and its subsidiaries, which is an integrated engineering solutions provider with diverse interests in the aviation and defense, energy, mobility and marine industries. Details of the principal activities of the subsidiary companies are disclosed in Note 6. Change of Financial Year End The financial year end of the Company had been changed from 31 December to 30 June and this is the first set of financial statements prepared to end on the new accounting date. Accordingly, the current financial statements are prepared for a period of eighteen months from 1 January 2023 to 30 June 2024. As a result, the comparative figures stated in the statement of profit or loss and other comprehensive income, statement of changes of equity and statement of cash flows and the related notes are not comparable.
