164 AL-SALĀM REIT ANNUAL REPORT 2017 STATEMENT BY THE MANAGER We, Dato’ Kamaruzzaman bin Abu Kassim and Wan Azman bin Ismail, being two of the Directors of DAMANSARA REIT MANAGERS SDN BERHAD (the “Manager”), do hereby state that, in the opinion of the Manager, the financial statements of AL-SALĀM REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT TRUST (the “Fund”) are drawn up in accordance with applicable provisions of the Trust Deed dated 26 March 2015, Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards, International Financial Reporting Standards and Securities Commission Malaysia’s Guidelines on Real Estate Investment Trusts and Islamic Real Estate Investment Trusts so as to give a true and fair view of the financial position of the Fund as at 31 December 2017 and of the financial performance and the cash flows of the Fund for the year ended on the date.
