MANAGER’S REPORT MANAGER’S INVESTMENT STRATEGIES AND POLICIES (CONT’D) (i) Portfolio composition (cont’d) (c) the aggregate investments in Property Development Activities (Property Development Costs) and Real Estate under construction must not exceed fifteen percent (15%) of the total assets value. For avoidance of doubt, such investments cannot be accounted towards meeting the requirement under Clause 6.3.1(a) of this Deed. (ii) Diversification The Fund will seek to diversify its Shariah-compliant real estate portfolio by property and location type. The Fund will primarily be focused on investing in real estates which are primarily used for healthcare purposes and will continue to look for opportunities that will provide attractive returns. (iii) Leverage The Fund will be able to leverage on its financing to make the permitted investments. Leveraging on its financing will enable the returns to unitholders to increase. Since the end of the previous financial year, no Director of the Manager has received or become entitled to receive any benefit (other than benefits included in the aggregate amount of emoluments received or due and receivable by the directors of Manager or the fixed salary of a full time employee of the Fund or its related corporations) by reason of a contract made by the Fund or a related corporation with any director or with a firm of which the director is a member, or with a Fund in which the director has substantial financial interest.
