  • December
    • Zetrix announced the launch of Digital Credentials, marking the commercialisation of the collaboration announced on 18th September 2023 between Malaysia's MY E.G. Services Berhad and China's state-owned Guangxi Beitou IT Innovation Technology Investment Group Co Ltd ("Beitou"), the IT arm of Guangxi Beibu Gulf Investment Group listed as one of China's Top 500 enterprises.
    • MYEG's subsidiary, MY EG Lodging (NC) Sdn Bhd officially signed a lease agreement with the Penang Development Corporation ("PDC") to commence work on a workers' village and related facilities at Batu Kawan, Penang.

    • Zetrix updated its native wallet application, enabling seamless digital asset connectivity between three major blockchains: Zetrix, Ethereum (ETH) and XingHuo International.
    • Zetrix announced the commencement of a pilot project to offer supply chain financing products in conjunction with Chinese banks for international importers and exporters, starting with the Bank of China, and in partnership with Dixchain, a national level high-tech enterprise in China that integrates financial technology and financial services.
    • Received a letter from the Road Transport Department of Malaysia to proceed with the implementation of the pilot phase for MYDTS ("MYDTS Pilot Test").

    • Summer Capital Limited, a leading investment management and advisory firm with a presence in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia, announced its intention to host nodes on Zetrix.
    • Zetrix launched an Initial Exchange Offering (IEO) on cryptocurrency exchange Coinstore from 18-26 Oct 2023, followed by the subsequent listing of its tokens on Coinstore, MEXC and BitForex.
    • MYEG received a letter of acceptance from the Ministry of Home Affairs to extend the Immigration Related Services for a period of two years.
    • MYEG and wholly-owned subsidiary MY EG Sdn Bhd each received a letter from the Road Transport Department of Malaysia to confirm their appointment as collection agents for the provision of vehicle registration services, driver and vehicle licensing and electronic payment of summon services for a period of three years

    • Entered into a collaboration with China's state-owned Guangxi Beitou IT Innovation Technology Investment Group Co., Ltd. to leverage on the Zetrix blockchain to offer cross-border credentials verification services, paving the way for the digitalisation of vital documents, including major government-issued identity credentials.

    • Together with its Philippines-incorporated companies, signed agreements for a collaboration with Philippines Bureau of Customs ("BOC") and with Cargo Data Exchange Center Inc. ("CDEC") to adopt the digital solution known as Ztrade, which is a first of its kind Web3 + Artificial Intelligence (AI) link between China and its trading partners that runs on Zetrix layer-1 blockchain platform.
    • Received a notification letter from the Ministry of Home Affairs to confirm that the Ministry of Finance has approved for MYEG to be appointed as the collection agent for the Government revenue and to extend its role as the provider of online services for the Immigration Department of Malaysia.

    • Announced the expansion of research collaboration with China Academy of Information and Communications Technology ("CAICT") along with Universiti Malaya to include the development of Artificial Intelligence ("AI") technology under the existing intergovernmental research collaboration.
    • Entered into a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") with Oyika Green Technologies Sdn Bhd in relation to a collaboration on the use of electric motorcycles and placement of battery swapping stations at designated locations for a trial period.

    • MYEG Philippines launched its payment processing service for the Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC"), enabling the public to make payments across more than 90,000 channels, online and offline.
    • Zetrix announced the successful live deployment of the Xinghuo International Supernode, along with the introduction of Xinghuo Blockchain Infrastructure and Facility ("Xinghuo BIF") naming services namely Xinghuo Beta Name System ("BNS") and Xinghuo Digital Identity Service ("DIS"), which are fully compliant with W3C International Standards.

    • MY EG Lodging Sdn Bhd, a sub-subsidiary of MYEG, received a letter of acceptance from Penang Development Corporation ("PDC") in relation to the tender to set up a workers village and related facilities at Batu Kawan Industrial Park 3 (BKIP 3), Mukim 14, Bukit Tambun, Seberang Perai Selatan, Pulau Pinang.

    • Signed a partnership agreement with East Logistic-Link Co., Ltd, a wholly-owned agency of the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China ("GACC"), to jointly provide a full suite of cross-border trade facilitation services that include certificates of origin on the Zetrix blockchain platform.

  • December
    • Declared the Group’s commitment to reach Net Zero emissions by 2050.
    • Proposed to distribute 84,000,000 ordinary shares in Agmo Holdings Berhad (“Agmo”), representing the entire 25.8% equity interest in Agmo to entitled shareholders of MYEG in two separate tranches by way of a dividend-in-specie.

    • Zetrix partnered with AmBank to launch the pilot for its cross-border trade financing solution, Zetrix TradeFi ("ZTF").
    • Entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MIMOS Technology Solutions Sdn Bhd to jointly develop and operate the national layer 1 public blockchain.
      • Zetrix and MIMOS blockchain technology will be used as components of the Malaysia Blockchain Infrastructure (MBI).
    • Proposed the establishment of an Islamic Medium-Term Notes (Sukuk Wakalah) programme of up to RM1.0 billion. ("MYEG Medical") entered into a Comprehensive Exclusive Distribution Agreement ("The Agreement") with Breathonix for the purpose of appointing MYEG Medical as the exclusive distributor for all market segments in Malaysia for the marketing, sale and distribution of the contractual products in relation to the BreFence Go as stated in the Agreement for a period of 3 years commencing 22 December 2021 ("Initial Term"), with automatic yearly renewals thereafter.
    • MYEG received the "Excellent Award" from China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology following its case presentation on its Zetrix blockchain project at a key industry event in China.

    • MYEG received the approval from the Road Transport Department of Malaysia to commence the Proof of Concept to set up an Automated Training and Driving Test System to assess the competencies of candidates undergoing the Drivers' Learning Education Curriculum.
    • MYEG entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with A Tech Insure Sdn. Bhd. to provide Malaysian civil servants with a platform to purchase motor vehicle takaful coverage together with road tax renewal by way of an interest-free Shariah compliant Qard loan facility that enables instalment payments via a salary deduction plan of up to 10 months.
    • MY EG Finance Technologies Sdn Bhd ("MYEGFT") received a letter from the Ministry of Housing and Local Government of Malaysia for the renewal of the Moneylender's License pursuant to the Moneylenders Act 1951 for a 2 years period effective from 15 January 2022 to 14 January 2024.
    • MYEG Medical received a letter from the Ministry of Health Malaysia allowing the deployment of BreFence Go as an alternative COVID-19 screening method at the country's entry points including international airports.

    • MYEG entered into a Memorandum of Understanding of Strategic Cooperation with the Institute of Industrial Internet and Internet of Things of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, to establish an international extension of China's national blockchain network, Xinghuo Blockchain Infrastructure and Facility ("Xinghuo BIF"), by introducing backbone and supernodes outside China to be known as Zetrix.

    • I-Pay MYEG Philippines, Inc. rolled out another two major e-government services, namely the online payment of income taxes to the Bureau of Internal Revenue and online payment of fees to the Philippine Economic Zone Authority.
    • Mydigitalcoin Sdn Bhd entered into a Shareholders' Agreement ("the Agreement") with China's Bubi Technologies Co Ltd, Agmo Holdings Sdn Bhd, Star Jewel Capital Inc. to regulate the relationship inter se of shareholders and other parties who will become shareholders of MYBB Techchain Sdn. Bhd. The agreement is to set-up blockchain platform infrastructure to enable the introduction of game-changing applications, including in the area of global cross-border supply chain financing and traceability.

    • I-Pay MYEG Philippines, Inc., entered into a strategic partnership with SinoPhil Biotech, Inc. and Family Vaccine and Specialty Clinics, Inc.'s Health Direct Now initiative for the provision of a COVID-19 vaccination programme in the Philippines.
    • MYEG signed a Letter of Intent with Anhui Zhifei Biopharmaceutical Co. Ltd. to purchase 10 million doses of Zhifei's vaccine. This paves the way for the vaccine to be imported and made available to Malaysians as soon as the private market commences and subject to the conditional authorisation of the vaccine by the National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency.

    • MYEG entered into a memorandum of understanding with Singapore's Breathonix Pte. Ltd. to introduce a rapid breath test system for the screening of the COVID-19 virus in Malaysia.
