44 E N R A G R O U P B E R H A D ( 2 3 6 8 0 0 - T ) DIRECTORS’ RESPONSIBILITY STATEMENT The Directors are required by the Companies Act, 2016 (“Act”) to prepare the financial statements for each financial year which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the Company and its subsidiaries (the “Group”) as at the end of the financial year, and of the results, financial performance and cash flows of the Company and of the Group for the financial year. The Directors consider that, in preparing the financial statements, the Company and the Group have consistently applied appropriate accounting policies on a going concern basis, supported by reasonable judgements and estimates that are prudent, and in compliance with all applicable Financial Reporting Standards, International Financial Reporting Standards and the requirements of the Act and the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. The Directors have general responsibility for ensuring that the Company and the Group keep proper accounting records, which disclose with reasonable accuracy the financial position of the Company and the Group and for taking such steps as are reasonably open to them to ensure that proper internal controls are in place to safeguard the assets of the Company and the Group and to prevent and detect fraud and other irregularities. This Statement is made in accordance with the resolution of the Board of the Directors dated 27 June 2018.
