Included in cash and bank balances of the Group is restricted cash of RM727,000 (2019: RM727,000) which represents minimum balances maintained in HDA amounted to RM200,000 (2019: RM200,000) and deposits which are maintained in a designated Debt Service Reserve Account with a licensed bank amounted to RM527,000 (2019: RM527,000) in connection with banking facilities granted to the Group as disclosed in Note 25(a) to the financial statements. (b) Deposits placed with financial institutions of the Group have maturity periods ranging from 7 days to 365 days (2019: 7 days to 365 days) with interest rates ranging from 0.2% to 5.0% (2019: 1.0% to 5.5%) per annum.
