SERVICES BERHAD Regisration No. 200001003034 (505639-K) 236 DIRECTORS’ RESPONSIBILITY STATEMENT The Board is required by the Companies Act to present the financial statements for each financial year which have been made out in accordance with the applicable approve accounting standards and give a true and fair view of the state of affairs, the results and cash flows of the Group and the Company. The Board is satisfied that in preparing the financial statements of the Group and the Company for the FY2020, the appropriate accounting policies were used and applied consistently, adopted to include new and revised Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards where applicable. The Board is also at the view that relevant approved accounting standards have been followed in the preparation of these financial statements. The Directors are responsible for ensuring that the Company keeps proper accounting records which enable the financial position of the Group and the Company to be disclosed with reasonable accuracy and which enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with the Companies Act. The Directors have overall responsibility for taking such steps that are reasonably open to them to safeguard the assets of the Group to prevent and detect fraud and irregularities.
