77 MKH BERHAD The directors have pleasure in presenting their report to the members together with the audited financial statements of the Group and of the Company for the financial year ended 30 September 2020. PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES The principal activities of the Company are investment holding and providing management services. The information on the name, place of incorporation, principal activities, and percentage of issued share capital held by the Company in each subsidiaries are as disclosed in Note 15 to the Financial Statements. RESULTS OF OPERATIONS The results of operations of the Group and of the Company for the financial year are as follows: The Group The Company RM RM Profit for the financial year 66,266,772 54,732,218 Profit attributable to:  Owners of the parent 41,737,497 54,732,218  Non-controlling interests 24,529,275 - 66,266,772 54,732,218 DIVIDEND Since the end of the previous financial year, a first interim single tier dividend of 4.0 sen per ordinary share in respect of financial year ended 30 September 2019 amounting to RM23,161,383 was declared on 27 November 2019 and paid on 3 January 2020 as reported in the directors’ report of that year. A first interim single tier dividend of 3.0 sen per ordinary share in respect of financial year ended 30 September 2020 amounting to RM17,322,476 was declared on 27 November 2020 and to be paid on 8 January 2021. The financial statements for the current financial year do not reflect the dividend. Such dividend will be accounted in equity as an appropriation of retained earnings in the financial year ending 30 September 2021. The directors do not recommend any final dividend payment in respect of the financial year ended 30 September 2020. ISSUES OF SHARES The Company has not issued any new shares or debentures during the financial year. Directors’ Report
