CORPORATE PROFILE CORPORATE OVERVIEW 5 A l-`Aqar Healthcare REIT (Al-`Aqar or the Fund) was listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (Bursa Malaysia) on 10 August 2006. Established with an initial portfolio of 6 properties, Al-`Aqar has grown its portfolio to currently 22 properties comprising 19 hospitals and 3 healthcare related properties in Malaysia and Australia. Al-`Aqar is managed by Damansara REIT Managers Sdn Berhad (DRMSB or the Manager), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Johor Corporation Group (JCorp Group) and supported by KPJ Healthcare Berhad (KPJ). As at 31 December 2018, Al-`Aqar’s property values stood at RM1.48 billion with a market capitalisation of RM0.96 billion.
