| 2002 | Excel Force MSC Sdn Bhd (EForce) was incorporated on 6 Feb 2002. We commenced business on 30 April 2002.
We commenced development of an integrated end-to-end stockbroking solution covering the front, middle and back office with straight-through processing (STP) capability called the “CyberBroker” solution.
We secured a contract from a leading Malaysian stockbroking company (SBC) for the deployment of a STP-enabled front, middle and back office solution in October 2002. |
| 2003 | We ventured into the Thailand market in 2003. We secured a contract to install the CyberStock Web ECOS for Kim Eng Securities (Thailand) PLC - one of the largest stock broking firm in Thailand, in November 2003. The localisation process of the CyberStock Web ECOS is the first phase of our customisation of our CyberBroker suite of solutions to cater for the Thai stock market.
We completed the development of the CyberStock Mobile Trader – PDA Version, an application that allows users mobile access to the CyberStock ECOS using wireless technologies in October 2003. |
| 2004 | We commercialised a new product called the CyberBroker StockBanking® System and secured a contract with a leading commercial bank. CyberBroker StockBanking® System is specially designed for banks to enable stock trading transactions through their respective network of branches and margin facility management.
We were listed on the MESDAQ Market of Bursa Securities on 21 December 2004. |
| 2005 | Soft launch of a new product, the Mobile Trader. Mobile Trader is designed ideally for professionals in fast moving markets to gain instant access to their share trading accounts and near instantaneous execution of their trades through a compatible mobile gadget or PDA with GPRS subscription. |
| 2006 | By the end of FY2006, EForce had successfully deployed the CyberBroker StockBanking® System to six major banks in Malaysia such as Maybank, Public Bank, Hong Leong Bank, RHB Bank, EON Bank and Alliance Bank. |
| 2007 | We successfully penetrated the Vietnam market with contracts from Kim Eng Securities (VN) as well as An Binh Securities Joint Stock Company for the implementation fo CyberStock® WebECOS and CyberBroker® Suite of Products respectively. |
| 2008 | Eforce has on 11 January 2008 entered into a conditional shareholders’ agreement with Mr Kek Chin Wu and Ms Kek Pei Chin to inter-alia, subscribe for 120,000 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each in Insage MSC Sdn Bhd ("ISB"), representing 60% of the enlarged issued and paid-up share capital of ISB, at par for a total cash consideration of RM120,000. Upon completion of the share subscription, ISB became a 60% owned subsidiary company of EForce. ISB is principally involved in the design and development of fundamental analysis investment tools.
On 18 August 2008, EForce emerged as the sectoral winner under the ICT Services Category for the KPMG Shareholder Value Award 2007 as a result of the continued value that the Company had provided to its shareholders in 2007. The KPMG Shareholder Value Award is an annual event organised by KPMG where the top 100 listed companies on Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) in terms of economic profit/invested capital levels are rated in terms of shareholders value creation.
EForce introduced its new product, the Derivatives Trading System (“DTS”), to the market on 31 August 2008. |
| 2010 | The Company's Private Placement of 12,111,800 new ordinary shares of RM0.10 each was completed following the listing of and quotation for the Placement Shares on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on 24 May 2010.
EForce completed its proposed bonus issue of 1 new EForce Share for every 2 existing EForce Shares held and a total of 68,922,700 new EForce Shares have been issued pursuant to the Bonus Issue. The new Eforce Shares were listed and quoted on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad with effect from 9.00 a.m. on 26 August 2010.
EForce successfully transfered its listing from the ACE Market to the Main Market of Bursa Securities on 21 December 2010. EForce is listed under the Technology sector and the stock short name and stock number remains unchanged. |
