Unless stated otherwise, the terms used herein shall carry the same meaning as those defined in the earlier announcements dated 12 May 2020 and 13 May 2020.

Reference is made to the Company’s announcements on 12 May 2020 and 13 May 2020 (“the Announcements”) in relation to the launch of a one-stop portal for COVID-19 screening.

As stated in the Announcements, the one-stop portal for employers to register and arrange on-site COVID-19 screening for workers is a private initiative by the Company.

The Board of Directors of the Company (“the Board”) wishes to inform that subsequent to the Announcements, the Company had since embarked on an initiative with Social Security Organisation (“SOCSO”) to validate the employers’ and employees' eligibility for SOCSO’s Prihatin Screening Programme (“PSP”) subsidy.

This initiative with SOCSO enables the process of eligibility screening and subsidy claims under the PSP to be carried out through MYEG’s one-stop portal in a more seamless and efficient manner.

The Board wishes to inform that the initiative has been completed and the Company has received a letter dated 2 July 2020 from SOCSO confirming the same.

Should there be any further material developments on the above matter, the Board will release the necessary announcements in a timely manner to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
