Annual Report 2022 89 ABOUT US LEADERSHIP PERSPECTIVE SUSTAINABILITY GOVERNANCE FINANCIAL STATEMENTS Other Information DIRECTORS’ BENEFITS Since the end of the previous financial year, no director has received or become entitled to receive any benefit (other than directors’ remuneration as disclosed in Note 41 to the financial statements) by reason of a contract made by the Company or a related corporation with the director or with a firm of which the director is a member, or with a company in which the director has a substantial financial interest. Neither during nor at the end of the financial year was the Group or the Company a party to any arrangements whose object is to enable the directors to acquire benefits by means of the acquisition of shares in or debentures of the Company or any other body corporate. DIRECTORS’ REMUNERATION The details of the directors’ remuneration paid or payable to the directors of the Company during the financial year are disclosed in Note 41 to the financial statements. INDEMNITY AND INSURANCE COST During the financial year, the total amount of indemnity coverage and insurance premium paid for the directors and certain officers of the Group were RM10,000,000 and RM23,000 respectively. SUBSIDIARIES The details of the Company’s subsidiaries are disclosed in Note 7 to the financial statements. SIGNIFICANT EVENTS DURING THE FINANCIAL YEAR The significant events during the financial year are disclosed in Note 48 to the financial statements. AUDITORS The auditors, Crowe Malaysia PLT, have expressed their willingness to continue in office. The details of the auditors’ remuneration are disclosed in Note 37 to the financial statements.
