The 50 year-old iconic home-grown product, which carries an approximate brand value of RM624.3 million, is a testament that its brand values are being passed on from one generation of Malaysians to the next. The current production capacity for MSM Group is 2.05 mil tonnes whilst the capacity in FY2020 is 2.14 mil tonnes. The total production capacity has been further reduced due to the completion closure of MSM Perlis following the consolidation of Group’s capacity. We produce, market and sell refined sugar products under our flagship Gula Prai brand that lives up to its slogan, “Sweetening Lives Since 1964.” Apart from household consumers, MSM sells to a wide range of customers in Malaysia and in other countries, directly and indirectly through traders, wholesalers and distributors.
